Getting started on NobleMC Skyblock
Your first island, resource trips and progression goals: a practical starting guide for Java and Bedrock players on NobleMC.

Before your first visit
NobleMC is a Skyblock server for Java and Bedrock players. Your island is the base you develop over time, while resource realms and other server areas give you places to explore beyond it. You can play solo or build with a co-op. Start with a small, useful setup and add systems as you understand what your island needs.
Check the current season status on How to Join, then join NobleMC Discord for staff announcements. A server appearing in your multiplayer list does not by itself confirm that a new season is open. Discord is also the place to find teammates, ask connection questions and hear about events.
Connect with the right edition
For Java Edition, use Minecraft 1.21+ and add play.noblemc.net in Multiplayer. Bedrock players use the same address and enter 25565 in the separate port field. Some Bedrock devices do not offer an Add Server button; ask staff for guidance for your device instead of copying instructions meant for another edition.
If joining fails, check for spaces in the address, verify the edition and port, and read the latest access or maintenance announcements. When asking for help, include your edition, device and the exact error message. The joining instructions keep these details together.
Choose an island and a first goal
Season 1 includes Basic, Desert and Mushroom island starts. Choose the setting you want to build in, then decide whether this will be your own project or a shared island. Our solo and co-op guide helps you think through that choice before inviting teammates.
For a first session, aim for a clear walking area, a storage plan and one achievable island objective. Leave room for later builds. Read the in-game menus before committing resources to upgrades: prices, requirements and limits shown there are more useful than guessing from another server’s guide.
Explore beyond the island
NobleMC has mining, farming, fishing and excavation realms. Visit the area that matches the resources you need, then bring that trip back into your island plan. Dungeons and PvP activities offer a different challenge; prepare your equipment and check the local instructions before joining them.
Player shops and the Auction House are part of the economy. Compare what you can gather with what other players are offering. Minions, generators and island upgrades provide longer-term projects, but you do not need to learn every system in your first session.
Build a routine that suits you
Keep a short list: one island improvement, one resource goal and one thing to learn. If you want competition, read the current Island Top information; solo and co-op islands have separate competitions. Check the season announcement and in-game information for current scoring details before planning around rewards.
Browse the Skyblock overview and server gallery for the areas mentioned here. If you get stuck, bring a specific question to Discord. It is also a good place to find people whose play times and building goals match yours.
